Our programs

Music, Food, Art and Dance. Our heritage is diverse and colorful. We proudly support a variety of cultural programs including Yarmarka: our annual celebration of Slavic culture. We provide opportunities for established and emerging Russian musicians to showcase their talents, host readings by up-and-coming Russian-American writers and help children connect to their roots through traditional Russian activities. We love to share our culture with those unfamiliar with it and provide opportunities for immigrants to rediscover their history.

Our Happy Woman’s Club is exactly that: a place where women can belong and feel welcome – where they can find happiness amongst others like themselves. Our common bond is our strength and perseverance in spite of all odds. Women do not have to bear any burden alone.

We uplift each other through the sharing of stories, experiences and support. Strong individuals come together to form stronger communities that are more than the sum of their parts. The Women’s Club hosts social activities, training courses, seminars and guest speaker events.

We connect Russian-speaking providers with clients, help immigrants find jobs, navigate bureaucracy, and much more. Washington State is home to a large concentration of Russian speakers from many Republics of the former Soviet Union including: the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia and more. Finding information and receiving needed assistance can be overwhelming and often confusing for those unfamiliar with the language and custom of a new country. We offer assistance in any way we can, from help filling out documents to our ambitious economic development project for Russian businesses.

We’re helping build healthy families by nurturing children; body, mind and spirit. We offer Russian language lessons for parents and children, Russian culture courses, and bi-lingual art, music, chess, and creative-play classes. The future rests upon the shoulders of our children. We will make the world a more tolerant and compassionate place by teaching our youth to value their diversity and celebrate their similarities.
